Description: An Art Relay designed to push you beyond your wildest creative imagination, show us what you got! An unconventional competition for drawing,painting, sketching, clay art and best out of waste awaits you!

RULES:

● Participants will be given different tasks for two days like sketching,
painting, posters, clay art or best out of waste.
● Participants will have to complete the given task on the given day within a
span of one hour.
● For sketching only pencil, sketch pens, charcoal are allowed. The paintings
or posters and sketching will be collected which will be given back to you at
the last day of the event.
● The materials required should be brought by the participants. Drawing sheets
and clay will be provided. Glitter is not allowed
● For best out of waste participants have to bring glue scissors and other
essentials. Waste products will be provided.
● Participants are requested to reach the venue 20 mins before the
reporting time.
● It is mandatory for every participant to carry their respective receipts
without which entry will not be permitted.
● Every participant should have his/her own valid I-Card.

Description: You don‟t need to be a professional make-up artist to transform someone into a clown,monster or pirate. Your partner‟s face is your canvas so paint away!

Description: Art is not just painting but that of Crafts too! Love doing decorations during festivals like Ganpati, Diwali etc.? Be it Origami, Kirigami, Quilling, Craft,or any kind of decorative piece you are the one for this adventurous competition!

RULES:


● The competition comprises of a single round. Participants will be given 2 hrs
for making a decorative item. Coloured chart paper, origami paper, quilling
strips, will be provided.
● Judging will be based on its creativity, complexity, and optimum use of the
material provided.
● Participants have to make a decorative item which fits in a A4 size paper.
The item can be like wall hangings / 3D popups/ 3D model/ pom-pom balls /
quilling / origami / kirigami / any type of craft but it should be of A4 size
paper length and should be only made by using paper.
● Participants can use sketch pens, glitter pens, color pencils for decorating and
thread, wool for hanging it. Materials like sticks, cotton, designer laces,
glitter papers etc. are not allowed.

Event Description: Life sized version of the most popular
arcade game “FOOSBALL”.

AUDI

Description: Voice of Pune has always witnessed phenomenal singing talent and will always continue to. Students showcase their singing talents in various genres of music like classical music, Bollywood, rap and various other genres.

RULES:


● The competition is a solo singing competition.
● There will be only 2 rounds:
Elimination: Participant must sing for a minimum of 1 minute and
maximum of 2 minutes. No karaoke allowed for this round.
Final: Participant must sing for a minimum of 1.5 minute and
maximum of 3 minutes. Karaoke will be allowed for this round.
● Participants will have to perform according to the number given to them at
the time of reporting.
● In case the participant misses his/her turn, the participant will be
accommodated later only if time permits.
● The sound track of the karaoke must be submitted to the organizing team
in a CD/ Pen drive. Back up of the same should be carried by the
participant at the time of performance.
● Participants can bring their own karaoke ONLY FOR THE FINAL
ROUND.
● Each participant will be given only 1 chance to perform, failing which the
participant will be disqualified.

Description: Instrumental is the competition where the hands do the talking.
Participants compose their own music and songs and showcase their talents at
playing various instruments. Instrumental is a blessing in disguise for music lovers.

Description: When it comes to atmosphere nothing can beat mélange and when it comes to the events then Mr. and Ms. Pune have got all the brawn! This is an overall competition which includes personality and talent evaluation. Mr. and Ms. Pune has been one of the best events of Mélange and students from various colleges battle it out to win the titles for Mr. Pune and Ms. Pune.

rounds is left up to the participant. The participant will automatically lose
marks for the sub-round he/she does not participate in. If a participant

Description: V-Rock is an exciting band competition of Mélange. Here, the Musicians, composers and singers blend their thought and expertise of music to put on a great show for the judges as well as the crowd. Undoubtedly, it is one of the best band competitions you would witness.

RULES:

● The finalists will be short listed by well-qualified panel of Judges.

4. Drum set (Participants need to bring their own
cymbals as well as bass pedals)
5. P.A. System.

● Time-slots will be assigned by lucky draw method. At least one member of
each band should be present for the draw.
● On stage, band members must be free from obscenities, drugs,
alcohol, or any other subject matter not suitable for an audience.
● If required, there will be a band-organizer meeting on the day of the show.
● Bands will meet the organizers in charge of the event who will introduce
the performance area and go over last minute announcements. Bands may
unload equipment at that time.
● Band members must bring along all other musical instruments and
equipment necessary for their performance. Band members are solely
responsible for the security of their equipment and the event organizers
cannot be held liable for any lost, damaged, or stolen equipment. Fires,
pyrotechnics, fog machines, etc. are not allowed.
● Administration reserves the right to make changes to the rules and
regulations of the contest as well as the final word in any disputes that
should arise concerning the contest.

Event Description: Multiplayer strategy game.

RULES:

● Every match will be a one-on-one match.
● Length of the game will be 4 minutes having halves of 2 min each.
● The player who scores more goals wins the match.
● In case of a draw, it will be decided by a penalty shootout and not extra-time.
● No player will get a second chance or a trial chance.
● All rounds are elimination rounds so only the winner will advance to the next
round.
● All teams that are available (EXCEPT IN ELIMINATION ROUND) in the
game are open to all players, so a player can choose either a club team or an
international team as per their choice.

presentation. These two rounds would be held together.

RULES:


Round 1 (Elimination):
The first round will be an individual round, wherein all the registered individuals will each speak for 2-3 minutes on certain topic allotted on the basis of a chit- draw.
The participants will be judged on the basis of their confidence, subject matter, precision, effective expression of the idea.
The 12 (multiples, depending on registrations) best speakers will be chosen by the judges, according to the scores. In case of tie, the judge reserves the right to rank the participants fore and hence.
Round 2 (Semi-finals):
The 12 participants will be divided into 4 teams; namely A/B/C/D (3 people in each). The teams will be divided using chit system to ensure fairness and transparency.
These teams would be semi-finalists.
A classic debate for 20 minutes between Team A and Team C will be held, as the
first semi-final.
The second semi-final would be between Team B and Team D for 20 minutes.
Round 3 (Finals):
Out of the above 12 participants Best 4 will progress to the final round. Judges will use chit system to redistribute members in teams of 2 for the Final Round.
For Semi-Final and Final round debates, the following would be the format:
For and against a topic would be decided based on a coin toss. The participants would be given 20 minutes to prepare beforehand.
The first 7 minutes would be dedicated to opening statements by each of the members in both the teams.
The following 15 minutes would be dedicated to countering the opening statements and statements henceforth made by the opposite team.
Interjection is to be done by raising a hand or calling out, ONLY AFTER the speaker completes his point.
The teams would be judged based on their team chemistry, subject content, effective expression, and effective
interjection.

 There will be two round with equal weightage.
 The winner would be decided by combining scores of both rounds. Also the
weightage of both rounds would be same.

 This includes the real bidding mechanism. Going with the real mechanism of IPL
auction, this round will contain 8 teams.

 They are expected to build a team with the mix of bowler, batsmen and allrounders and wicket-keepers.
 All the players will be allotted to you containing their basic amount and value
point will be allotted in the beginning of the game only (which will be
confidential and will not be disclosed)
 The team who has maximum value points will be the winner.
 Teams which do not adhere to the rules and regulation can be disqualified at any
phase of the event.

TEAM

Entry Fee: Rs. 350/-

RULES:


● It is a knock out tournament.
● Each team consists of 4 players (3 on field + 1 goalkeeper).
● Rolling substitution is allowed.
● Player is not allowed to touch the ball inside his own “D”. A person
touching the ball inside his own “D” will result in a penalty.
● Each half will be of 7 mins duration, with a 3 mins interval in between.
● Football studs are not allowed, any other footwear (sport shoes, etc.) are
allowed.
● Teams must reach the ground on time, failing which the team is disqualified
and the opponent team is awarded a walk over.
● Use of foul language is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification.
● In case of tie, penalty shootout will take place. Each team will get penalty
Kick.
● Only if the ball reaches the goal directly or maximum in one bounce, will the
penalty be granted, else it does not count.
● Further rules will be explained on the spot.

RULES:


A) GENERAL RULES:
1. Five players in one team with one wicket keeper compulsory.
2. Each match will be of 2 overs.
3. A player is allowed to bowl maximum of 1 over.
4. 1 over power play will be there.
B) BATTING RULES:
1. There will be box at batting side.
2. Batsman will have to bat with at least one leg in the box, only then rules will be
valid.
C) BOWLING RULES:
1. Bowler will have to bowl with his elbow touching his waist and only moving his
forearm and wrist standing still in the box.
2. No sideways movements of wrist are allowed. No shoulder movements are
allowed.
3. Ball should be pitched beyond the no ball line, otherwise no ball.
4. Any deviation from the above rules will be “NO BALL”.
5. Usual NO BALL and WIDE BALL will be applicable.
D) RUNS:
1. Ball directly hit on the front wall will account to six runs.
2. Ball going over the side walls of hitting the side walls after a bounce will
account for two runs.
3. Similarly, ball going over the back wall or hitting it after a bounce will account
for one run.
4. Ball going over the front wall in the similar way will account to four runs.
E) MODE OF DISMISAL:
1. Ball going over the sidewalls, back wall or front wall will be out if it doesn‟t
bounce inside the box.
2. Ball hitting side wall, back wall directly will be out.
3. Ball caught by any fielder on the first bounce with a single hand will be out.
4. Caught out.
5. Stumped out.
UMPIRE’S DECISION WILL BE THE LAST DECISION. ANY ARGUMENT AGAINST UMPIRE’S DECISION WILL
LEAD TO THE DISQUALIFICATION OF THE TEAM.

1. Teams of 2 participants.
2. Scoring will be based solely on time.
3. You can ask for a maximum of 3 hints.
4. No hint will be given for the first 3 clues.
5. For the 1st hint, 10 minutes will be added to your time, for 2nd 15 minutes
and for the 3rd hint 20 minutes will be added.
*For example, if you complete the hunt in 250 minutes and you have used 2
hints,
then your total time will be 250+10+15=275 minutes.
6. At every place, you will give your answer to the volunteer. He will check it
and give the password key for the next clue.
7. After completing the hunt you must report back to the starting point.

● Theme will be presented on the day of the competition.
● Participants should mail two of their best photographs to following email id:

● Participants have to submit the clicks within 24 hours.
● Image format should be „JPEG‟ only and maximum size of a photo should
not exceed 4.5 Mb.
● Any type of editing, post processing, watermarking is not allowed. If found
out then this would lead to disqualification.
● Cropping is allowed.
