RULES:

  • Select the area of your choice that you want to develop and improve.
  • Area should be in Pune.
  • Team should consist of maximum 20 members & minimum 8 members.
  • If same area is preferred by many teams then it will be allotted on first come first serve basis.
  • Activity must be completed in time.
  • Requirement sheet has to be submitted before the event.
  • Basic things from the Requirements sheet will be provided (brooms, garbage bags, cut markers, drawing sheets) by the college.
  • If participants are NSS members, then their hours will be counted.

JUDGEMENT CRITERIA:

  • According to area you have selected.
  • According to work planned and completed in that area.
  • Number of activities and their variety.
  • Feedback of residential people.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Teams will have to fill one form along with requirement sheet which will contain the activities and their planning for 2 days of the event and will have to submit on the date given by event head.
  • There will be an event mentor with each team.
  • There should not be any damage to society.
  • While working near areas like roads, dams, rivers, etc., follow necessary safety and rules.
  • If there is need of any permission, contact the event head.
  • Soft copy of the Report should be submitted before the given deadline.
  • Along with all information of activities performed, the report should also contain photos of areas before performing activity during it and after it.
  • Panel of judges will evaluate the work based on presentation.
  • The organizing Committee reserves the right to change the venue, time and rules, if desired.

  • The photographs must be sorted as per the activities conducted.
  • Meeting venue will be messaged to respective team leaders after registration of team.

ACTIVITY INFORMATION:

Pathnatya is a Street Play which is used as an instrument for providing Informal Education. Pathnatya is based on social issues such as Dowry system, Superstitions, Caste system, Female feticide, etc. It has interesting and educating dialogues. It is the best weapon to eradicate social evils. The theme of the street play should be socially relevant and highlight social issues.

RULES:

  • There should be a team of minimum 8 and a maximum of 15 members.
  • The duration of act should not exceed 15 minutes including setup time. Strict adherence to the allocated time needs to be followed. The judges may penalize the team in case excess time is taken. (refer judging criteria)
  • The event will take place in an open area such as college lawns, amphitheatre and there will be no provision of a stage or associated facilities
  • The language for the street play should be English or Hindi or Marathi with appropriate usage allowed of regional language wherever required.
  • Costume and Props are NOT
  • Contestants are strictly advised not to disclose the name of their college to the jury members/audience while introducing themselves on the stage.
  • Organizing committee should not provide any Costume/Props.
  • The contestant may opt for a suitable dress code.
  • The decision of Judges will be final and binding.
  • In case participants exceed the time limit, Judges are free to disqualify the team.

  • Poster size is A-3 and will be provided by us.
  • Maximum number of participants in a group can be 2.
  • Participants should bring their own instruments (e.g. scale, pencil, sketch pen, crayons, poster colors etc.) with them at the time of competition.
  • Poster should be self-explanatory.
  • There should not be any mechanical or electrical devices attached to the poster.
  • Participants have to select only one topic from the list of topics given by us on the spot and draw the sketch related to it.
  • Participants will be given the time limit of 2:00 hours only for the completion of the poster.

JUDGING CRITERIA:

  • Poster should be such that it is easily understandable to all.
  • Judging criteria are based solely on the content of the poster.
  • Marking scheme based on morality, creativity and clarity of message.

ACTIVITY INFORMATION:

Being a technical student, we have to infer things from the instances and react accordingly in appropriate manner so as to know the importance of how to react, what to react and where to react.

This event allows you to express your views about any particular occurrence so as to develop quick thinking which leads to overall development of personality.

RULES:

  • There are two rounds in the event.
  • First, a short film will be shown to the participants related to any particular topic & then participants have to write an abstract inferring the movie. (Maximum 10 mins.)
  • The participants are then shortlisted for the second round.
  • In the second round, again a short film will be shown, on which group discussion will take place.
  • The participants will be judged by external faculty pursuing knowledge of the related topics.
  • Judgment is done completely on the basis of presentation skills and quick thinking about the related topic.

ACTIVITY INFORMATION:

It is rightly said- “You know the best thing about competition? There’s this whole strategy game, and when it all works out its like solving that hard maths equation. You finally get the answer and you’re so HAPPY!”

RULES:

  • Only team entries are eligible.
  • A team shall consist of max two persons.
  • The decision of the quiz-master will be final and will not be subjected to any change.
  • The participants shall not be allowed to use mobile or other electronic instruments.
  • Audience shall not give any hints or clues to the competitors.
  • After every round during the final quiz, team with the lowest score is eliminated.
  • Questions will be based on the social issues.

ELIMINATION ROUND   (In case more than 6 teams register)

  • Each team would be given a set of question paper containing 25 multiple choice objective type questions
  • Time limit – 15 minutes
  • Only 6 Teams would be selected for STAGE ROUNDS
  • In case of tie between 2 or more teams, further 5 questions would be asked for final selection.
  • The selected teams shall have to appear for the final round

FINAL QUIZ STAGE ROUNDS

Round 1: A question will be asked to a team and if they are unable to answer, it will be passed on to the next team.

  • Each team would be asked 4 questions each. (Objective questions with options)
  • 10 marks would be given for a correct answer and 5 negative marks for wrong answer.
  • If a team cannot answer the question, they can pass the question & then the question would be forwarded to the next team.
  • Answering time is only 30 seconds.
  • Team discussion is allowed.

Round 2: Rapid Fire Round: – Each team will be asked 10 questions one after another in one minute time.

  • 10 marks for the correct answer and negative 5 marks for the wrong answer.
  • Answering time is only 3 seconds.
  • Team discussion is allowed.
  • If a team cannot answer the question, they can say pass for the next question. The question will not be forwarded to the next team.

Round 3- Buzzer: – A question will be fired & the team who presses the buzzer first gets to answer first.

  • 10 marks would be given for a correct answer and 5 negative marks for wrong answer or if the team doesn’t answer after they press Buzzers. No forwarding.
  • Answering time is only 30 seconds.
  • In debate both the teams will be given a topic on which they have to put their views. Maximum number of points they highlight about the topic, maximum number of points team can score.
  • Total marks from all rounds of the final quiz will be counted and the winner will be announced.

So, all socially active leaders who are very sensitive towards the society and have best plans to solve the various problems faced by this earth i.e. our Vasundhara, boost up your creativity and innovation and let your solutions reach to everyone and awaken their senses.

Identify any social issue, it can be either related to small village or to this entire universe and present your solutions to us.

RULES:

  • Team should consist of maximum 3 members from the same college.
  • Your presentation should be in PowerPoint format.
  • Presentation should consist of maximum 10 slides excluding references, annexure, etc.
  • Format of presentation should be as follows:
    1. Which problem statement is selected
    2. Why?
  • Your solution
  1. Implementation plan
  2. Possible problems
  3. Sustainability of solution
  • Time to present your presentation in front of judges: 10 min.
  • Decision of the judges will be final

Shambharat ek engineer asto, hazarat ek doctor asto, parantu vakta ha lakhat ek asto.  ‘Me AtreBoltoy’ is a grand elocution competition named on famous Marathi speaker Acharya P. K. Atre. This competition gives you a platform to express your opinions freely and showcase your depth of knowledge on given topics.

RULES:

  • An entry shall consist of max 1 person.
  • Socio-talk is a speech competition where you will be given the topic days prior to the event
  • Round one – In this round you will have to speak for 3-4 min on the same topic that you have chosen. On the basis of the score only 15 will be selected for the next and the final round
  • Round two – (final round) In this round you will get 8-10 min to speak on the topic you have selected
  • On- spot entries for this event is not available
  • The participants shall not be allowed to use mobile or other electronic instruments on the event day
  • Time limit – 8-10 min
  • The decision of the judges will be final and will not be subjected to any change.
